How We Work
Independent. Field-Based. Professional.
All placements are structured as independent contractor (1099) arrangements. You are a safety professional engaged to lead safety operations on a defined project or scope of work.
Once placed, you are expected to operate with full professional ownership — maintaining field presence, communicating directly with project teams and site supervision, and making sound, experienced decisions without waiting to be directed.
We match professionals to projects based on experience, scope, and fit. When the work requires someone with your background, we reach out. Opportunities span refinery, industrial construction, mining, energy, and related high-hazard environments.
What We Expect
These are not job duties — they are the baseline expectations of every professional we work with.
- OSHA and/or MSHA experience in construction, refinery, industrial, or mining environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead safety on active job sites — not just observe
- Clear, direct communication with crews, supervisors, and project leadership
- Experience managing high-risk activities, hazard recognition, and field-level compliance
- Works independently and represents safety with authority
- Maintains safety standards without disrupting job pace
Preferred Certifications & Training
Not every credential is required for every project. The more you bring to the table, the broader your opportunities.
- OSHA 10-Hour / OSHA 30-Hour
- OSHA 500 (Train-the-Trainer – Construction)
- OSHA 510 / OSHA 511
- MSHA (Part 46 and Part 48)
- NCCER Certifications
- CHST, ASP, CSP
- First Aid / CPR / AED
- EMT or emergency medical response experience (preferred)
- High-angle rescue training
- Confined space rescue training
- Aerial lift / boom lift / scissor lift certification
- Forklift certification
- Fall protection / competent person training
- Confined space entry training
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Rigging and signaling
- Crane safety experience
